Japan Covid-19 Open Data Consortium
The Japan Covid-19 Open Data Consortium consists of researchers who
agree to register genomic information into DDBJ with the aim of
distributing information more freely.
The SARS-CoV-2 genome information is also available in GISAID,
but severe usage restrictions hinder analysis and validation.
Therefore, this consortium registers the sequence to DDBJ first,
and then registers the same information to GISAID.
